Best Full size integrated dishwasher for under £400?

I know this has been asked before, but there's not been a lot of answers and was wondering if anyone had any recent recommendations?

I am tempted by Bosch as I've used a Bosch dishwasher before and couldn't fault it, but they are fairly expensive - possibly worth the cost, but are there any other brands people can recommend?

Thanks.

I'm looking at them ATM and because funds are very tight we're looking at a £200 from currys
Had a cheap one before and lasted years, just never got round to replacing till now and it's needed!! Lol
It is also a triple A rated machine which is great :-)

Have you looked at the JL website? I browsed it earlier this evening because they have the 2 year guarantee. I was looking at compact ones but I am fairly sure I saw a full size one for only just over £400

Miele make some of the best dishwashers but they are not cheap. I paid about £500 5 years ago for a free standing version. Mine was sort of mid/upper mid in the range.

Have to say we bought a Bosch integrated 6 months ago and not overly impressed. It has already had the door catch break which to Boschs' credit was repaired quickly. However the cleaning isn't always great and last weekend we were away for two days and quickly stuck the washer on before we went. When we came back it was still running!

I'm not convinced it is any better or will outlast the cheaper models we've had in the past. This is of course only one anecdote I'm sure other people will chime in and say that their Bosch has been working perfectly for the last 30 years, cleans wonderfully and puts the dishes away for them after ;)

I had a Bosch last time round that didn't last too long so I replaced this time round with an Amica. I have had it for over 12 months now and had no problems. It seems well built, is very quiet and the dishes come out clean all the time, and it either came with a 2 or 5 year parts and labour guarantee which based on the price I paid <300 swung it for me

Unfortunately all the best performing dishwashers are free standing models - not fully integrated ones - and Bosch, Siemens and Miele are all very good in that category.

If you look at Which? Best Buys for fully integrated dishwashers then the best performing model for less than £400 is the Beko DW 686 for around £320 ... but it doesn't clean itself well ... and it doesn't have extras like flood protection, child lock and delay timer.

Of the more upmarket integrated brands, the Neff S51E50X1GB did best - and you should be able to find it for just under £400.

A £1 trial membership of Which? could, I think, be a Best Buy when you're looking for a new appliance ... although they don't always have results for the latest models.

Which one are you looking at, I cant see a triple A rated one, but it sounds perfect for us.

Is it classes as triple A as its got A for cleaning, drying and energy?

Virtually all dishwashers are triple A rated these days. if they're not, then it'll probably be the drying they fall down on.

You need to look at actual energy and water consumption to find the best models. Some are A++ rated for energy. And it's a good idea to look out for decibels too. It's a logarithmic scale, so 45dB is a lot quieter than 65dB!

Thanks, I was confusing the A++ with triple A's.
