40 + kw pellet boilers

    we have an mcz wood pellet stove. These people affiliated with the installation company and make their own stoves. They have been pleasant on the phone but I know nothing about their stoves.

    edit: our mcz is only 15kw but is very efficient and heats our 4 bed house plus hot water. It costs very little to run

    hopper fed is easy and requires very little attention
  • Does any one have ( or install) pellet boilers of 40 kw or more? This is for large domestic use, and will eventually be part of an integrated system with solar thermal and pv units too.
    Look on eBay. Above 45 kw, MCS is not relevant/ applicable. Boiler cost should be in the £5-6000 range.
    Get a proper assessment/ quote as it is very easy to over estimate requirements. Consider better insulation.
