Sky Go for Android ICS
Options
Hi All
If like me you were majorly hacked off to find that Sky Go stopped working after you update to ICS this may be a solution for some.
Phone does NOT have to be rooted and I just downloaded and installed and happy days it works!
You have to allow apps from other than the market place and have to remove Sky Go if already installed.
I have HTC Sensation, running ICS & unrooted.
Hope this helps!

Remember to Thank Gumbald if you do download!

That version doesn't work since the update 2 days ago0

Damn it, just done that update!
Sure the peeps on XDA will sort it soon enough though0 -
No the sky is keeping the control since otherwise non sky customers might be able to receive programs.
The hacked by XDA may work for a few days but the sky will find the way to stop it
Same as the bank is not going let the hackes to change the app so it works with other phones.
.You have to allow apps from other than the market place and have to remove Sky Go if already installed.
You will have higher chance of malware by doing what you have said.
The sky is planning to release the update soon.0 -

You really do not know what you are talking about, but just want to rant on with your anti-android comments(being polite there!).
That link was for an apk from 22 Feb 2012 and stopped working only if you updated in the last couple of days, so it seems that your comment that it will work for a few days is wrong, care to confirm this and maybe apologise? Or are you going to try and go off on another tangent to deflect from your lack of knowledge !!! usual?0 -

Anyway why would one need to use the hacked apps.
The apps should work from the Google Play.0 -

Android is a community thing, people help each other and scratch each others backs and don't charge through the roof for it like Apple.
Although given your history here if someone asked you to scratch their back you'd probably scratch their bum and tell them about piles (malware).0
