Hi all,

I have come across this company today and they claim that they can wipe your credit card debt. I have heard this a lot before but the bit that sounded different (and maybe you can tell me if this is correct) is that instead of trying to say the credit agreeement is unenforceable, they actually reassign the debt to themselves which all sounds a bit strange!
They charge a £950 fee which they advise to pay on the card you want to clear and that is it. I have done a bit of a search on the net which uncovers a few testimonials seemingly confirming this is what happens...

has anyone had any experience of using them or a similar firm?

many thanks

I've heard that if on a Friday you stand on one leg and do a twirl, then call your card issuer whilst still standing on one leg and give them a password of 1234, they will wipe your balance off and let you spend another £10K for free.

    Is this true?

I hear op that it does happen, also if you goto the police it can be classed as fraud as you are charging the card with no intention to payback
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    Hi

I have been made aware of these company by a third party who was saying great things about them- but it sounds far too good to be true so thought I would come here to check it out. I found someone on LinkedIn pupporting to be from this company (I cant post the link to the profile as I am a new user) that suggests they havent been going long.

However, I couldn't find much else as to the details of how they claim it could work. Am sure its a scam but cant work out how

A "company" that will wipe out your credit card debt for a fee of 24% of the balance. Doesn't appear to have a website, just a page on the "Best of Bolton" site.

You gotta be kidding that anyone would fall for this nonsense.

    Thanks Eonel

Yes I noticed that too. Think its a rehashed version of something I have just found on moneysupermarket called "wiping out credit card debt".

The date/details are the same (referring to pre April 2007 agreements)
  • Hi again,

These people's scheme appears to have worked so far for a friend of mine. Pre 2007 debt on credit card. Letter received saying there was no challenge to the reassingment from the creditor, and then a letter from another company to my friend saying that she no longer responsible for the debt. Am completely mystified. No further correspendence from the creditor about the debt. Next step will be to see whats on the credit record as a result.
Others must have been approached by these people??

You don't give up do you!!!
  • I urge no-one to use the services of this company. They are advertising their services all over Social media (fB, twitter etc).
They have no website but are members of business network groups.
Un fortunately I contacted them having regards clearing my credit card debt. They quoted me a fee of £300 then decided to increase it to £500 for no reason. Once I refused the associate(based in Bolton) became quite shirty with me. I put the phone down.

I wanted to complain but there is no website to complain to.

All I can say is keep clear from company's like Northn Star Capital Consulting and others.
My view is if they don't have a website - keep clear
