what was your reason for complaining about the credit card?0

mis sold, pre existing med condition, sick pay scheme, private insurance etc, so how can they reject?0

there are better people on here to advise you but more info will help them, how was it sold to you? in store, online over the phone?0

pre-existing conditions only works if the condition is severe enough to invalidate or mostly invalidate the ability to claim on the policy.
Credit card PPI can be paid out irrespective of work benefits. So, that wouldnt stop it paying out.
Alternative personal insurances are only an issue on advised cases where the adviser needs to take them into account. Not sold cases.
How you bought it is also an issue somewhat in the other things you mentioned.even after i have had barclayloans upheld
The issues with loan PPI is different to credit card PPI. Credit card doesnt suffer front loading of the PPI premium for example and that is where most loan PPI complaints end up being successful.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). and what of the fact that protetction was still taken even though i am on a dmp, it continued for a while after i went on dmp0

if you were entitled to use the PPI and didn't then thats down to you, the fact you didn't use it does not count for anything sorry! it might actually work against you because if you were eligible for it then they can say that their advice was correct and it was suitable for you!
edit - i may have misread that and you got the PPI whilst you were on a DMP (which i doubt is possible?)0 -
Mis-sale is about point of sale. Not things that happened later. If you feel the payments continued after you cancelled them then that is a different complaint reason.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). That doesn't mean you can claim back any payments made before the default or the DMP. As dunstonh says, mis-sale relates solely to circumstances at the sale of the policy. Nothing afterwards.
You'd have a good case to get any money back from them that was paid after you had no further eligibility to claim on the PPI, since you would be paying for an insurance you could never possibly claim on. That does not make it a mis-sale though, it just means they should have cancelled it when you went on a DMP (assuming, of course, that you actually can't claim on it.)urs sinserly,
