I have children but they are at school full time now. I dont work and because I am OCD anyway, my house is always tidy. I enjoy comping but I do get stressed if my routine falls apart during the week. When the kids are off at the weekends it is different though - we go out or I play with them indoors. Maybe I can relax more at weekends because there are not as many comps posted so I worry less about falling behind?
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

Hmm I haven't been comping that long to get really OCD yet but I can see it happening in the future. When i know I'll have a really busy day i'll get a head start on the next days comps the night before in preparation. Not sure what I'd do if I was missing a whole week, luckily there's not much chance of a holiday in the near future :p

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx

I do get a bit obsessive when it comes to doing the comps, I can go through for hours making sure all the ones I want are ticked with entry! Although I don't really get anxious or anything if I'm away and can't comp - I just start again when I get back! I worry far more about missing a WEM or call!

Yep I have a problem to. I have to get my comps done before I go to bed. I dread the end of the month as there's so many, and when I go on holiday I have to plan my time so that I can get all those days comps done in advance. And when I'm on holiday I get all anxious to check my emails in the hotel. I get worried ill win something where you have to reply within a certain number of days to claim the prize. And I don't want to miss out . Lol

Sorry if this is not the right place to ask this but could any one tell me how I can sort comps by end date so that I can enter them this way?

    Thanks :)

    Hiya Rainbow,

On the display options at the bottom of the comping page you change sorting by to Thread Title and it will sort it for you :D If you are new I would take a look at the comping guide on the 1st page as well, the tips on there can save loads of time

  • As for having an OCD my family think I do as I do spend time every day doing it. However I do draw the line when on holiday but try and be up to date before I go

I am taking it more seriously this year so spending more time doing it but have had good results from it

On a side note today had a carton of soya milk arrive via recorded next day delivery, does anyone else find it strange when a book or chocolate bar etc is sent via a postage method that would cost far more than the item is worth

At the moment I am doing A LOT of comping, but that's only because I'm at home all day on study leave, and it's so easy to turn on the laptop and think, oh, I'll just check MSE. Then after I've done maybe half an hour of work I'll check again to see if there's anything new.

If I get into uni though I probably will keep on comping, because if I was to win some money it would be a real life saver.
  • I had an appointment with Physio on Thursday... and was told I've got such a sore, swollen wrist from extreme overuse - comping :o I really need to get a life :p
