What are reliable electrical underfloor heating brands?

I understand it is not good idea to save on underfloor heating as if it brakes, the tiles need to go. Could you recommend reliable brands of underfloor heating please?
Thank you.

We got Warm Up and we really like it. We also got the thermostat too, which my husband loves (he loves a gadget!). I would reccomend it.

I've never had any problems with the "Warm Up" kits. Just make sure the MI's are followed to the letter. . . :)

We have Warmup as well great product and we've never had any trouble. Just a shame we bought ours before they brought out the new colour thermostats.

I fit loads of Warm UP UFH and would highly recommend them. If you are going to tile over it then I would also say you should use self levelling compound to cover it (even though SLC doesn't completely self level, it needs a helping hand spreading out) this will protect the wire and make it easier to tile onto. A bonus is that it will be more thermally efficient and use less tile adhesive (which is more expensive than SLC).

    Good luck.

I use the professional kits from Ambiheat (Google them) the pro kits include an additional temp sensor so if the original fails you simply swap to the other!

I also use their touch screen controller. Its by far and away one of simplest to use. Can be a tad temperamental at times but good none the less.

No affiliation BTW just solid reliable stuff.

Just to add, TOTALLY agree with following manufacturers instructions TO THE LETTER.

I used Warm Up and am generally happy with the quality of their kit. The one thing that I would say though is make sure that you fit it over the top of some kind of insulating backing. We have got one install in an upstairs bathroom (fitted over plywood) that works brilliantly. The second was just put straight down onto an uninsulated concrete subfloor (not by me I may add) and is really pretty poor. It only ever gets tepid after being switched on for a long time.

Odd that a google for Ambiheat underfloor only shows your post on MSE. Perhaps you'd like another go at the name?

On a more serious note - I am putting a new bathroom in, and tiling onto the floor - not sure what the surface is at the moment. Is it best to go for a mat like warmup supply, or some sort of insulator board with the wires on top of/embedded into that?
