haha a little offended by that remark! Considering anatomy and physiology is a main part of my course and is the main focus on our exams each year in training!
We do a lot of training about the neck considering it is the main part of keeping people alive! (the airway!). As well as the brain etc so we can assess patient conscious levels and signs of deterioration.
We also learn all about the skin, its layers, trauma and how it heals.

Having slogged away at A&P and Pharm for a year and a half and feeling very proud of my firsts, I admit I was a bit irritated by that too!
Do any nurses going into botox feel guilty about the three years of training they had for free, paid for by the NHS? Maybe I'm still new and over-enthusiastic but I didn't go into nursing to spend my time injecting vain people with unnecessary doses of toxins!0
