Does this sort of pushchair exist?

Ok I'm looking for a pushchair with handles rather than a bar, fits a car seat on to the frame and also has a stroller bit for when you don't want to put the car seat on any more.

Oh and also does anyone know what you do in the rain when the car seat is just on the frame? Like do you just use the car seat rain cover?

This is the only thing I can find but rather expensive:

The Quinny Zapp Xtra does what you want. It accepts a Maxi Cosi car seat and it includes the necessary adaptors. Should be able to get it for under £200

The M&P pliko is an umbrella fold, has handles and fits a car seat. It can also be used as a pram or a front-facing pushchair.

We got ours from ebay for £25!

Not sure about rain covers over car seats though.

I had a silver cross 3D which did the above and I was very happy with it.

I second the quinny Zapp xtra - I have one. I wrote a fairly long review of it in this thread (4th post down) if you're interested

And yes you can buy a rain cover for a car seat. Here's a link for one for the maxi cosi pebble, which fits the quinny zapp xtra frame

Quinny Zapp, but putting the stroller seat back on after using the car seat is very fiddly, so don't try and do it at short notice!

We have a Hauck Condor trio travel system. I was looking for the same things as you and I am still very pleased with it 18 months later.
