What age for going back to work full time

For those of you who have children and either worked p/t or were a SAHM when they were little, at what age (of the children) did it feel right for you to go back to fulltime work? My children are 6 & 7, and I've worked (in my old career type job) 2 days a week for the last 5 years or so, since I finished my 2nd lot of mat…

I don't ever plan on going full time. i am very lcky in that I have a job i enjoy and employers who are willing to pretty much let me work the hours I want. i did about a year full time when oldest was about 4 but cut down my hours when I split with ex as son needed me around a bit more

I do 30 hours over 5 days - 2 full days and 3 when I leave in time to do the school pick up. the 2 long days are so hectic in the evening I can't imagine how that would be everyday
