  • yes the can do this, if you fail to meet the requirements of JSA. However, if you have a valid reason, backed up with proof i.e sick note etc you can appeal. next time inform the job cente if you cant attend, as you and others are easy targets for staff to meet the JSA offload targets. if suceesful you can back date your payments. inform you local housing office about this issue.

You could use your child benefit and child tax credits.

yea he phoned them up they put him through to his advisor and he told her that she did not give him a letter with the time and date on and they know hes not got very good memory coz its down on his files thats why he gets dla and she said well u was due in at 12 and this was at 1 so she told him to go there straight away so he did and she said it will have to go to a decision maker and they said they will stop it for 2 weeks but she always gives him a letter with a time and date on and this one time she did not and the reason he called at that time is normally his appointments are like 3 half 3

you will come under the vulnerable group area due to your LO

Although the Child Tax Credit & Child Benefit should help towards this anyway. But appreciate with everything costing more these days money doesnt go far at all.

Contact the office or pop down tomorrow (well today :o) and talk to them, they'll be able to tell you what your options are. Good Luck

It's his responsibility to make it to appointments and to write down the time if he's likely to forget.

You don't get DLA for having a poor memory!
