i just called Require It and quoted my part number and they didnt recognise it, but offered me a number of different screens for HP. they also said they have ones by different manufacturers, do you happen to know which manufacturer HP uses? so i get the right screen ...
LCDs4less dont have my screen in stock!0 -
No you won't find this unless you can see the partno on thre back of the original screen. Notebook manufacturers use different types of screens when assembling a single model of Laptop. As a result, more than one type of screen can be used by the same laptop model.
Require IT are a good quality seller, on their ebay site they only have 3 negs over the past 12 months for over 5k screen sold. They also guarantee them.
Incidentally Brightview is only a branding for similar types of screen, X-Bright, SuperBright, Ultrabright, Diamond Bright, CrystalBrite, Brightview, PixelBright0 -
kool, thanks for your help.
the repair centre admitted a mistake has been made, and will take the screen back tho i had to kinda argue, inititally he said no, as its been over a week and he cant return it, so i offered to take £70 instead of £90 so i can buy the proper one so he agreed.
hope the new one is alot better, its a LG/phillips one.
Thanks again0
