Hhhmmmm ... I do feel this comment is uncalled for. It is all some people can afford, especially if they are on benefits. Anything is better than nothing in my opinion and it would be good for the kids to learn on. I wouldn't look down my nose at people if they got one of these. No use to me, but good post OP I will let my sister know as she is a single mother of a toddler and on benefits.0 -

My mum (a pensioner) got one of these a few months back and she loves it.
It's fast, reliable and suits her needs (researching family tree, reading completely bonkers articles which she then forwards to me!!!)
If anyone wants a cheap PC/Laptop, then it's defiantly worth a punt.0 -
