Best thing to do would be to get your form completed and countersigned and take it down to your nearest office along with the scanned copy of your old passport/
You may have to wait a while as they are very busy but there is a chance that you will be seen.
If you have something that shows you need to travel (weddiing invitation?) take that along too - they might just take pity on you.
Usually the quickest service you can get for a lost passport is the week service - but that can be over-ruled at the office
  • Im amazed but i turned up at 8.30 at the glasgow office, i told them i didnt have an appointment but was flying out on friday. The girl just asked my name, then said go take a seat, you could have a long wait. 15mins later i was seen, and approved. Picked it up 4 hours later:) Thank god!

Thought that might happen :)))) - doesn't happen that way @ every office though. Glasgow has the BEST customer service.
  • i was amazed how easy it was. Not only that, when I got there the girl said there was 3 other people without appointments in front of me, so I dont think they turn down many people. SHould only be used in an emergency though. Great service

Wel I will give credit where credit is due, I honestly thought you did not stand a chance in hell of getting one but fair play to you {and the passport office} and I will say that I am pleased that now you will be able to be at your sisters wedding and I hope it is a great day for you and your family
