I wonder what other things he's garnered from your neighbours.
Perhaps if you got a list, we can try to determine what he's building.

Even the aliens know that. Perhaps they guy was an alien who wanted some tinfoil to develop more effective mind control which can overcome tinfoil helmets?Notsosharp wrote: ».... When my kids were little, for 6 months I lived on a really rough estate.
One of the smackhead neighbours knocked at 2am(!!!) and asked for some foil for the chicken he was cooking...I couldn't believe it!
My first thought would have been for drugs too, weirdo! (not you, him)Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Definitely drugs. He was probably out of cash, desperate and ready to do anything. It isn't cheap and when you are absolutely desperate, it is easier to ask like this than take the chance to be caught stealing it. Fixing a leak (can you even do that with tin foil????) would take more than a few seconds....0

When I used to work in a well known supermarket we had cheap rolls of tin foil that were just sealed in plastic, not in the boxes like normal. Regularly used to find rolls that had the plastic ripped off slightly and pieces of foil missing. Think we had to stop selling them in the end.
I reckon though it was probably something to do with a fuse in the car.Engaged 25/12/2013 :T

I used to live next door to a crackhead who would knock sometimes to borrow foil to 'cook some chicken'. Then he'd return the roll with a little 2 inch square torn off one corner, lol, so not at all obvious!Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
