Cancelling O2 Bolt-on - Can it be done?>

Hi all,

I'm planning to order a contract with a Galaxy Note from Tesco, and this comes with 100 mins, Unlimited Texts and 500MB Web Bolt-On. I've heard many people able to turn off the Bolt-On through the O2 site and therefore reduce the price of their contract, but some say it can't be done? (I NEVER use data, only Wi-Fi, so saving the extra money would help)

The price is £21.50 a month but if I cancel the Bolt-On it will be £15.50

Can it be done over the O2 website as soon as the phone arrives?

Thanks!

Are you on Tesco mobile though and using the O2 portal?

From what I understand of the original post, the OP is on Tesco (which runs on O2) and is asking if he can access his Tesco account via the O2 portal to change his bolt on.

"Bought from Tesco" doesn't necessarily mean "on Tesco (Mobile)".
It's just amazing how people are incapable of saying even simple things clearly.

It's because they haven't a clue.... some think Tesco actually have built a mobilke phone network. Clever Tesco!
