Have you considered camping or hostels (private room). You are going to struggle with a hotel within that budget although Travelodge do do £15 per night rooms if you book really early.

Thanks, we found a good hotel in SCarborough £168 for 4 nights, arriving Monday, leaving FRiday, with train fare about £40.

I think this was a bargain- thank you for all your help- we will try Blackpool later in the year maybe!
