I'm so confused!!! So many hotels to choose from ..........0

Look at hotels on Trip Advisor. Throughout our travels we've found all but one review to be accurate and it's helped me choose (I am so indecisive!)
Decide what area you want first and what your budget is to narrow it down a bit. I forgot to say the Affinia 50 had free nibbles and wine between 6 and 7 in the evenings and the doorman used to say 'welcome home'. A bit cheesy but a nice touch!Norn Iron Club Member 330

I'd recommend the Salisbury too. Perfect for central park, tiffanys and fifth ave!!
Enjoy!0 -

One thing NYC isn't short of is hotels. The only limit is your budget.
It's worth bearing in mind that it's such an easy city to get around that the location of the hotel isn't that important and you can get more for your money by stopping a little further out.0 -
Free wine and nibbles? That's dinner sorted

I disagree. We have stayed in various hotels in different parts of the city and have to say that, for us, the Salisbury is more convenient. I do think that the location of the hotel is important.0 -
Ohh i do hope u have a chance to look at Room mate grace. Its a Spanish owned company. Boutique. Honeymoony. Indoor little pool with a bar! Great breakfasts.0

I've had a look at room mate grace. It's on the short list. Slightly concerned about having to swim to the bar, but hey I'll work that one out.

Our hotel had free warmed cookies in the evening

And a 24 hour snack shop.
Anywhere round Times Square will be fine for seeing stuff. Just get on the metro and youll be where you want in no time.0 -
