I wouldn't use frontline, it is dangerous stuff IMHO. Have you considered alternative methods?
Has your dog actually got fleas? Or are you doing the treatment just in case? If just in case there are several natural things you can use as a preventative, such as neem oil, a little garlic in food, home made lemon spray etc all of which are far safer.“How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.”0 -

Im not a massive fan of Frontline either, I used it on my cats for years with no problem then last year I used it on my then nearly 17 year old cat. Although it was purchased from the vet and the last vial of 3 that I had previously used on him and was still in date, he had a terrible reaction to it.
First of all he stopped eating, then he went floppy and was vomiting. I honestly thought his end had come and took him to the emergency vet they said all we could do was wait and see if he recovered. Amazingly he did recover and eventually began eating and went back to normal.
Since then I don't use frontline. Sometimes I had a little garlic to his food and I groom him regularly and he remains flea free.0 -

Did you know that garlic (and anything else from the onion family) is poisonous to cats?

Oh dear! I was told years ago to add a bit of garlic to cat food to prevent fleas and I've heard it from quite a few people!
Well my cat has made it to 18 and is going strong so fingers crossed it hasn't affected him.
Ill have to find an alternative.0 -
What is neem oil? How would you administer it?
Is there anything natural for worming?
Quite interested in this as dog is on so many meds at the moment I would really rather avoid giving him any more. Hadn't thought of alternative treatments before!0
