What the hell has % got to do with price? Frosty Jacks `cider' is like £2 or something and is basically rubbing alcohol its that strong. So does a £100 bottle of champers have to be super strong?

I've seen that stuff in BM Bargains so I imagine it's reasonably cheap in there. I recall it because I was staring at the weird bottle shape for quite some time trying to work out what was going on with it.
Couldn't tell you how much etc, don't drink so don't normally look at wines but that caught my eye. This was about 3 months ago.0 -
Asda have just overpriced the individual bottle price to ensure you buy the three, I'm guessing they have to buy large amounts to get it for the right price so it's easier if they make it look like a bargain on multibuy. Chenet isn't that expensive a wine and most of the discounters have sold it at £3.99 or 3 for £10 for several years.0
