    Well I have it now, did a clean install of windows 7 (my desktop did have Vista) there was no need to clone. Didn't look hard enough though because I bought the laptop kit....!!!!!!. But I have managed to fit it anyway and had spare cables etc.
    I have to say, so far so good! Boot up times (after the bios screen) is about 12-14 seconds, which is amazing considering how old this PC is. More amazingly is how quick it shuts down, we're talking maybe 3 seconds max! I'm well impressed, it writes pretty damn quick too, thanks for the advice
