Hi,
I've been hanging off renewing my broadband hoping that at some point I'd get a call from Virgin trying to get a renewal out of me, yet to my surprise no luck. The idea was that they'd phone and i'd try and get a better deal. I'm currently on the 30mb (to be upgraded to 60mb) fibre deal, paying £30 p/m, although new customers get 6 months half price and still pay less once this period is over. So the idea is that I'm probably paying too much and could get a better deal, but need to know how to go about this, im sharing a house (student) whats the best way to go about this? I could cancel and get a housemate to get the new deal (which is better than what we currently get) or do I try and get a better deal before leaving? (is this possible?) or are there better deals with other providers?. Also I'm reluctant to phone them as it'll cost me and usually with other contracts i'm being phoned left right and center being offered new deals. It doesn't seem right that I should be chasing them up, surely they want my money?
Thanks for looking
