The OP said nothing about caveats being given in the jeweller's recommendation, just an unqualified recommendation that these rings should be replated 1-2 times a year.. If we'd been told that the question or recommendation was qualified as you suggest then I wouldn't have made the same comment I did.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
i have my white gold wedding ring and eternity ring over 5 years now and neither have been (nor needed) replated
i havent wore them much in the last 6 months now as i have lost so much weight they just fall off
the wedding ring in engraved the whole way around the inside so i dont want to get anything taken off it
any ideas? i was thinking a nice necklace for them, and just a cheapo ring for my wedding finger?0
