Haggling with High St Shops

Has anyone had any joy asking a shop to match an online deal?
Either one from their own companies website or a competitor?
I failed the last time I renewed my contract but as everyone is skint wondered if things had changed at the moment?
I'll pop into my local CW when I get the chance and report back

Im glad to see someone willing to haggle at the high street, many will not.
One of my collegues did get some additional cashback from Phones4U for a recent purchase of a Nokia Lumia 800.
I do not believe they would negotiate on the monthly contract price, however did give him an additional £100 in cash. This may have been only on this specific handset as im sure Nokia did provide retailers with a nice kick back for pushing their handsets over the competition.
Please let us know how you get on.
What handset is it you are looking at getting?0 -
