Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus - shall i get one?
Options
Currently i am on virgin sim only monthly contract.
Had a leaflet from virgin stating that for existing customers they have special deals. What caught my eye was the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus. I can have that on a similar tarrif to my current one for £4 extra per month. The drawback is it is a 24 month contract. The phone will cost me 24x4=£96. Had a look at some websites for PAYG prices. They are higher.
I know that the phone is mid range smartphone running 2.3 gingerbread when 4.0 is already out.
1. Can i find this phone cheaper elsewhere on PAYG?
2. Shall i get this phone? Currently have the Orange San Fransico (rooted) on PAYG which i am happy with. Is Samsung a big improvement?
I am always looking for a good spec smartphone on a good offer.
Thanks in advance for any advice given

Forget the phone a second - in any event it isn't that much better than what you have got.
Can you beat the amount you are paying to Virgin on any sim-only tariff? You need to change your thinking from "only another £4 per month" to what am I getting for my airtime money? Can I do better? Then do your sums.
I have a friend who sells cars for a living. He says he would harly sell any were it not for the fact that he shows people the "how much more per month is it going to cost me? figure rather than the real cost.0
