Laser eye surgery - advice needed!

It can be - IOL means Intra-Ocular-Lens and can either be anterior chamber (in front of the iris and lens) or posterior chamber (usually replaces the natural lens).Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

You have to be really careful as to which clinic you opt for the surgery as it is to do with your eyes. There may also be hidden costs involved.
There are quite a few clinics that follow practices like the ones you have mentioned.
I would personally recommend Laser eye surgery from Accuvision. My brother got his surgery done from there. They offer the best quality of treatment and aftercare and at the same time are very affordable. They have a good offer going on right now. The same one which my brother opted for. You can see the details at Accuvision UK.0 -
I'm getting laser eye surgery next week. Who was your consultation with, OP?
I went with Optical Express, and there was no sales talk there. They gave me all of my options and the prices of each, and talked me through the differences, but having already done an abundance of research I knew the differences already. They were explaining things in simple terms, and I was responding with 'That's _____, right?' as I'd learnt all the technical terms from my research.
If you do plan on getting it done, don't resist the urge to Google the complications online. You have to know the risks involved and make an informed decision. You'll have to sign a detailed contract accepting the risks, anyway.0 -

Make sure you get some money off! I have £150 off voucher codes as my partner had IOL.
IOL took a bit longer she was in the actual clinic for a whole morning but it healed really quickly and she hasnt had any issues with infection or anything. You can see the lense in her eye if you look really carefully!0 -
Is IOl the same as clear lens extraction? My optician recommended this to me, he said it's the same surgery that cataract patients have. I'm too scared to go through with it though.
Dont worry the surgery seems daunting but as long as you have someone to help you with the first drops after the surgery as it makes you feel a bit funny its fine. My partner can see perfectly now and had no pain. Please do ask if you need more info will get her to come on and tell you about the actual surgery. I have £150 vouchers with optical express if you want one.0
