Considering this time they were advertising branded beers, which I thought would be a great idea for Father's Day. Rather than looking forward to seeing one of my best mates open a rare gift I've instead been left bitterly disappointed to read an e-mail one shopping day before the event to say "that due to production problems they are unable to dispatch my gift" the present was due to arrive tomorrow at the latest and telling me this late hasnt left me enough time to find something else suitable.
Despite the apology, a full refund and an additional £20 creditted to my account I just can't believe the company has failed to meet my needs. The cash wont be in my account for a few days yet and I dont really have enough to go out and buy something decent. Dont have any other occasions coming up either so the credit will have to be left until i cant find something to use it up for.
Has anyone else had a problem with them? Sorry for the rant just so angry I dont know what else i can get him at short notice!
Mistakes happen, moonpig have done more than enough to make up for it. Have you honestly gone through your whole life without making a mistake or accident that's inconvenienced someone else?0 -
You can spend the credit on Christmas cards. You can opt to get them sent to you to post in December. Or get some birthday cards- they don't have to be personalised. I see no reason why you would let the credit expire. TBH I think Moonpig has been very generous in the amount they have compensated you.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0

I can see how this would be annoying. However, in my experience, most men are not too bothered about birthdays/Fathers Day, so I would just treat him to something when you do get the money back. I'm sure he will appreciate it whatever the date is.0

Surely they should refund you rather than give you a credit? Or is the credit in addition to a refund in which case they have acknowledged they made a mistake and have offered a fair recompense. In your own unique circumstances it is a bit of a nightmare as there is nowhere to get an alternative but for most people that would be a good outcome.
It could have been worse, these boards are full of complaints about on line flower shops after mother's day and valentines, at least you knew in advance they were going to let you down.
I am sure your Dad will understand that you did make an effort and was let down and as they say it's the thought that counts, don't let it ruin the day .0 -
