Need advice on a water bill

Options
Right i get a water bill for my property and my next door neighbour. From what i can make out my neighbour had a barn that was converted to a property sectioned off and sold but it shares the same water meter. This isnt a problem but my neighbour wont pay towards any of the bills and as the bills seem to come to my property and not theres i have to pay them. I have contacted the water company but they dont seem to care and said that if i wanted seperate meters i would have to pay for this, but its quite a costley job as the meter is over the road.

Where do i stand on this as i have hade enough of paying £1200 water bills and next door get away with paying nothing.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers
Dan

You really need to contact the solicitor who handled your sale.

Can you cut off the water to the other property?
