  • I have no experience of this, but do you have a service near you for giving housing advice? CAB would know of any in your area. As you are sleeping on a sofa they may be able to help you find somewhere to live as quickly as possible. If the bills are in joint names and you are no longer living there, then you need to see about getting your name removed, as if he has arrears in the future then you will be liable to that debt also.

It could be much worse if the animals were homeless. I suppose the cat is not bothered so much now as he knows he will not be wrenched away from his favourite corner. But the dog must be upset not knowing whether he is coming or going, although he has a roof over his head for the time being.

On money, never a lender or a borrower be.

On relationships, no advice for the relationship just gone. And too early to start thinking about the next one

On rights, try here http://www.hri.org/docs/ECHR50.html. Remember that if you expect rights, you should respect those of others too.

Move into your mothers until you get back on your feet or get paid?Don't expect the council to house you, you're far from a priority and have other options. You could look into renting a room perhaps?

Relationship wise, given your ridiculous threats (sorry but they are and incredibly childish) I think the relationship will probably remain over!

Is there anything of yours left in the house? Are you thinking of things you paid towards? Not 100% sure what you're looking for tbh

What money advice are you looking for?

The house belonged to his mother and no contract was agreed (stupidstupid me), only a few bills were in both our names.

He comes out with a house, fully furnished, paid for the rest of the month

He comes out of it with a house because the house belongs to his family. He hasn't taken anything off you. If you had been renting a place you wouldn't have built up any rights to the property.

Move home for a while, get over this relationship and learn from it.

Yeah,I'm not sure what difference the op thinks a 'contract' would've made.

He's saying that he had no choice as I threatening him (fair enough, i'd threatened to trash the place and keep him up all night - yet I hadn't received a reason

Me to, although you can see a snippet above it would have been interesting to see the full post. I like it if someone deletes a post but it has been quoted as you still get to read the thread!
