    :rotfl:

    Yip fingers crossed for you!

Me and partner were in Tesco's last night about 8.30pm. We came out with lettuce, cheese coleslaw, sausages, salami, sausage rolls, 2x loaves, 2x garlic bread, sparkling flavoured water, apple and raspberry tart, 2x tins custard, spaghetti, nescaf! cappucinos... think that was about it.... all for about £4.00!!! :D (only reason it was so dear was that the box cappucino's were half price at £1.50!) Bargain shopping! Love it :D

Even more excited now, I have just recived the £100 from Halifax for opening my new current account, so transfered it straight to my old account, and rang them to reduce the overdraft, it felt so good to do that :j

    Good morning :D

You've had a profitable weekend! Good work!! :)

I managed to keep spending down fairly well at the weekend which I'm impressed with. Me and my partner invited his mum and dad round for dinner yesterday. Typically though, the dish that was suggested was 'my' speciality! :p Had myself stressed to the hilt incase it went wrong! First time I've cooked for them! Thankfully, all 4 plates were scraped clean and everyone is alive to tell the tale! :j lol :)

Well done on getting your kitchen painted too - nice and bright to contrast with the dismal weather we're having?!? ;)

Thanks headabovewater, your meal sounds good, I always thin empty plates and everyone left to tell the tale is a good result :D my family now have to deal with my budget entertaining, it's great to see how cheaply I can do things.

another NSD for me, not a lot else to report.
