PLEASE HELP - Littlewoods delivery not received but signed for

Hi
Please can someone help with any advice.
I ordered 2 items from Littlewoods at the end of May and within a few days I hadn't received them so checked my account. My account said they had been delivered and signed for.
I had not taken delivery and had not signed for them. I checked with my neighbours but to no avail. I contacted Littlewoods who started the process of trying to find out what had happened. To date I have spoken with them 5 times, and only on the last occassion (tuesday) was some action taken by them. Up till then I had a different story every time I called. They have said that there is a signature and given me a name and are posting me a copy of said signature and are also trying to talk to the driver to see where he delivered it to. I have spoken to my postman and he says there is no one with that name living down our street! Littlewoods have also told me that I will still have to pay, even though I haven't had the goods yet, which is the thing that worries me the most
Please can anybody offer any advice on what to do as Littlewoods are being stubborn.
Many thanks

I would ask to speak to a manager, get a copy of the signature and ask for the address it was delivered to. They have tightened up the way they deal with thing as people used to say they had not received the goods, they would then send out replacements, customer returns one delivery and keeps the second free of charge, it was an old scam which used to cost them a lot of money. They have to provide you with the delivery details.....maybe you have a dodgy Home Delivery driver as Littlewoods do not use the post officeIf you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j0

Littlewoods are responsible for ensuring you receive the good you have purchased. Sending you signatures for the delivery is irrelevant, you have not received the goods so they have not fulfilled their contract with you. As such you are not liable for the cost of the goods.
The arrangement to deliver the goods is a contract between Littlewoods and their chosen service provider (Royal Mail, Parcelforce, HDNL, UPS etc). If their service provider has failed to fulfil the delivery successfully, this is not your problem, but an issue for Littlewoods to address with their service provider. Whilst Littlewoods would appreciate your cooperation, you shouldn't need to jump through hoops.
Your situation does not alter, you have not received the goods so you are not liable for the cost.
The matter is one for Little woods to resolve, and you will probably need to given them a reasonable opportunity to do so.My farts hospitalize small children0 -

Hi,
I am in the same situation as you were. However in my situation the item is a laptop which was never delivered to me but Littlewoods Home Shopping say it was delivered to me and it was signed for! I nor my family have never received the laptop, the charge for this item was taken off my account and then re added to my account without me knowing nearly 2 months later. I am in the process of trying to resolve this dispute.0
