3 weeks ago i rang sky to cancel multiroom because my son has left home and we won't be needing it.
For the last week or so all we've had is "no satellite signal is being received" so i rang sky again and they asked for £65 for an engineer, so i refused and said cancel, but before she would start the cancellation process she said she would have to start up multiroom again therefore i would have to pay another month sub for it !! what a cheek , can they do that ?
In the end i said i would ring again next week when the multiroom sub had expired then cancel.

Did you try turning it off and on again at the wall? Usually fixes the problem.
Wait for a few minutes before turning it back on.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

Yes i did switch everything off and i unplugged the cables and plugged them all back in again
Its the main box the hd+ one in the living room
The sky+ box in the bedroom has been off for 3 weeks to be honest i never thought to check it, i have now and it's the same.0 -
What you have been told in that case is correct. If you are part way through a 31 day notice period for a downgrade or cancellation, and you then want to make another change, they have to put all of your services back to active and then re-apply the 31 days notice.0
