    Bankhater 1965:-

Wealthy people are paid more for numerous reasons ..... reasons why you are not, I guess?

You are jealous, that's understandable, but by increasing my tax will not result in more tax for the country ...... there is a point at which it works out better for us to instruct our Accountant to reduce our Tax.

We set up limited companies to ensure that we only pay 20 Corporation Tax and my wife gets paid the minimum wage from that company ...... we are paying less in taxes than someone earning a very low £30,000 a year ......... increasing the Tax rate will NOT increase the Tax take.

What you need is for the wealthy to spend their money so that it dribbles down to the rest ...... a VAT reduction may well push us into buying that luxury item we are hesitating over ....

haha you have got the wrong end of the stick , im self employed and has built a very succesfull landscaping business over a period of 15 years and sweated doing so and earn a good living which is beside the point, i am pointing out the reality thats all nothing personal, the tax in this country is blatenty a joke , esp the vat at 20 % anyone who is self employed running a business and adding 20% to an invoice is a massive disadvantage whilst competing with a business below the threshold regardless of personall income but turnover amount due to vat registered , the fact of the matter is the vat rate is far to high and should be cut and any shortfall should come from the wealthy who have just had a tax cut and who encourage the minuim wage by paying your workers such rates which costs the country money with top up benifits whilst people like yourself try to justify such actions by creating jobs but topped up saleries with tax payers money with benifits, you say your wife gets paid the minumim wage!!! , you pay this soley to offset your tax and profits to use her personal allowance of £7475 you will have to do better than that !!

I think you will find that word is 'gangsta'.

Well, if you aren't a gansta then you must, by definition, be a half-wit ....... you said it, not me.

I'm assuming that you know how stupid you look when you say you 'own' someone you don't even know?

I suppose you are one of the reasons I am so highly regarded - fair enough, it was by your own hand.

    And ..... breathe!!

I do wish you would use some punctuation so it is easier to read.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make in all honesty ... I pick up that you think VAT is too high.

And, of course, my wife is employed by my company at the minimum possible to offset that tax .... I didn't mean to imply otherwise - I used it as an example of where higher taxes will result in more avoidance, so you tax more but get less!

BTW I thought all landscape gardeners did jobs 'cash-in-hand' .... and, if you do, (and I think you know you do!) - YOU are not paying your correct amount of tax - illegally, in fact!

Look, you've done it again. I've just written that word down for you to copy and you still got it wrong. Just who is the half-wit here, I'm beating you at every turn!

I've given you plenty of chances to redeem yourself and by your never-ending errors you just keep making yourself look more stupid. You have even repeated your earlier error of logic, as I think you will find I admitted to being neither of the options offered.

    Why not give up?

Ha Ha Ha .... gangsta, gansta .... it's a word I don't use that often.

You obviously think it makes you sound cool .... you are probably just a teenager playing - 14 years old I would guess?

Good game ... but you are clearly out of your depth here - soon be bedtime.

Not a word I use often either, but those of us that are truly clever have eclectic knowledge, and can fit in to various circumstances, with various audiences, and have a very wide vocabulary.

Probably will be bedtime soon since if it is too easy, it is no fun.

If it were true, imagine being bested by a 14 year old (who appears very much in his depth). You would feel like a real idiot in front of your fan club wouldn't you?

By 'own', do you mean 'have demonstrated yourself to not be my match', since you have lost all points so far?

As I say, if it is too easy, it is no fun. And believe me, I'm having no fun.
