I have recently returned to the UK after >35 years overseas, working for non-British companies mainly.
After two divorces which each cost me a house I have my own house now, but very little money.
I am 75 and have little prospect of well-paid work, although I am fit and willing to work at anything.
How do I get back into life in England, get money to live on and pay my bills?

Imagine if an immigrant asked these questions, (basically thats what you are) there would be uproar. Why can't you get help from where you have been payin tax's for the last 35 years.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

For a start he was born here and lived here for 40 years previous to this. Don't be so judgemental the OP is looking for advise on finding work not asking for handouts!0 -
Working as a volunteer for a charitable organisation is one way to get into circulation: I have encountered many older people who do this - one was 95!
I am not sure if you are entitled to any benefits - probably not.
Citizens Advice can be helpful so are worth trying.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Nowadays you only need 30 years' contributions for a full pension. As you seem not to be claiming that, it will be considerably more than when you were 60/65.0
