I left positive feedback in Dec as the voucher arrived quickly. However, as it was a Christmas/Engagement present, I didn't give it to my other half till Christmas Day, and it was into January before he could use it and BSM said it was stolen.
I was furious that I couldn't neg him after finding the goods were not as advertised and had to make do with a follow up comment.
ebay refused to let me change the feedback, saying once it's left that's it and suggested agreeing with the seller to remove it and leave fresh feedback. Of course he was really going to be willing to let me remove a positive so I could neg him...... :rolleyes:Here I go again on my own....0 -
https://www.paypalwarning.com
https://www.paypalsucks.com
https://www.aboupaypal.org
and of course the obligatory google for fraud and paypal
ebay have started banning links to these sites and cancelling auction so put it in as "paypalwarning DOT com"
sorry, you've got no recompense other than knowing the sellers address and visiting them with some friends and encouraging them to pay back your money
trouble is, the seller is 180 odd miles from you, so would cost you £45 in petrol and a day of your and your mates timemoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I realise you don't like paypal, but if you read through the posts you will see the the OP actually got their money back on the dodgy purchase after time, which is an awful lot more than they would have done paying by any other means.

We got the money back not due to the help of paypal or ebay who were totally disinterested in the whole affair, but through the persitance of becles, who badgered her credit card company until they decided to give a refund under the threat of an investigation by the banking ombudsman.
The reason i'm so annoyed about this is that ebay bang on about how good & safe they are etc etc, then someone genuinely does get ripped off and they are not even prepared to answer an email about it other than their automated service.
Anyway, i've given in to peer-pressure and paid it
I do know for a fact however that if iw as to re-sell aforementioned item i would end up in gaol - thats the way my luck seems to run.
And i DO like the idea of popping up to visit the seller - come on peeps tell becles it makes sense
I'm afraid I was very, very drunk.0
