Possibly, but it sounds like she was being a bit loopy before she knew the sex.

I think this is about sibling rivalry. My SIL has three sisters and she says it was a nightmare when they all started having kids. It got hyper-competitive and downright weird at times!

Thank God it's just me and my bro and we've never felt the need to compete with each other

Wow how lovely to know im immature and childish How people can feel they can judge me on what the OP has said is beyond me...guess thats what happens when you only hear one side of the story.

I would love to tell you the sex of MY baby but as my scan is not for another 3 weeks I do not even know myself.

As for jealousy over you having a girl, sorry but I do not care what sex my baby is, boy or girl it will be loved.

Great to see you on the thread. What's going on then? Why does your sister think you've had your scan when it's not for another three weeks? Is this all just a misunderstanding? And do you really want to call your baby the same name as your sister (if it's a girl)?

I honestly don't know why she thinks I've already had it, unless shes been wrongly informed by someone else.

What about the name thing? Do you think it's worth you two trying to get together soon and have a chat about stuff? Sounds like there's a bit of confusion that needs sorting out...

Thankyou, and i agree it would be very immature but i do not even know myself yet. To be honest i not bothered if its a boy or girl like you said having a healthy happy baby is the most important thing.

Ah well, it just sounds like a bit of a misunderstanding then. Always good to hear both sides, as you say we only tend to get one side of the story on here

Sounds like another sister has been doing a bit of stirring if you don't know yet and she is saying you made her swear on her child's life!

Maybe you both need to arrange a meeting with said sister and out her?
