Am I being hormonal?

I am currently pregnant as is one of my younger sisters.

My sister had her scan the other day didn't tell me but appears she told all my other sisters. I found out last night she knows the sex, has told my other sisters but they are not allowed to tell me and she made my baby sister swear on her sons life not to tell me.

I think this is just petty, !!!!!y etc as we haven't fell out so she has no reason to not want me to know. Am I being hormonal or am I right to be annoyed?

I know she will see this thread but atm I really don't care.

She might be waiting for you to know the sex of yours (if you haven't already?) before she tells you hers?

Or she thinks it's a competition of some sort?

I found mine at 2 months ago as I am 28 weeks.

She possibly does see it as a competition as when I announced what I was going to call my daughter she said she was using that name too should she have a girl.

Why not ask her what her reason was?

Personally I try to treat siblings the same, and I would be disappointed too.

However, lots of people get on better with some of their siblings than others, and treat them differently.

I'd guess she's having a girl then, and won't tell you she is because she knows you'll be using the same she wants for hers.

Or is my imagination running away with me? lol

Did she really make another sister 'swear on her son's life', that in my book is disgraceful. You've already said what you intended to call your baby, so unless her's is premature, go for it and beat her at her stupid, childish game.

That's a bit weird! Cousins with the same name! Have you asked her why? Has your relationship always been like this?

She sounds petty and immature. Ignore her enjoy your pregnancy, call your girl what you want and if she copies you she's the one that will look stupid not you

I have sent her a message asking why she does not want me to know, so far no reply.
