Its kind of shared, although ive been told that certain patches belong to certain flats, but its not clear cut and the person that told me that is the gossip person of the block, so...

Im really stuck on this one..

    But, to answer your question..

Their is no reason why they couldnt buy their own line and put it in the garden.

Think it's nice you've had a change of heart but agree my 1st thought was they can always buy their own?

Is your rotary washing line free standing? or the usual pipe in the ground.

What do your other neighbour do? Do they each have their own rotary line?

I think I would offer to share it with your upstairs neighbour until they get one of their own.

Their is only my rotary line and one other, the ppl in question are between both of the lines, they just happened to choose my one..
I dont know how my upstairs neighbour dries his clothes...
    Nor my adjacent neighbour..
Food for thought, maybe they have tumble dryer, but my kitchen has been fitted in a way that wont allow for a both a washing machine and tumble dryer, ive only got the washing machine..

Im starting to lean towards leaving it now..

They are not above me, they are next to me but in the other block..
They have a different entrance to their block.

Yes I think that would be a first move, but go and introduce yourself to your neighbour and at least break the ice in an issue that you dont want to become an awkward situation.

Go on and give it a try.
