Can anybody help me? I don't know anything about computers apart from how to use them but I have a question:
I've received 3 international phone calls from a company that said they are called the World Wide Web and that they have noticed I have a trojan horse on my computer - they have my name and contacted me on my landline number. They said they are ringing to sort the problem with me.
Understandably I'm very suspicious of this and have just come off the phone with them explaining that I don't know who they are or where they have my details from...they say I am registered with the WWW and thats how they have my details!!
The woman said i have CSRSS.EXE trojan horse and I need to fix it and they can talk me through what I need to do on my laptop??? Has anybody else come across this, is this a scam or do I need to do something to my laptop?? How can I check?
Any help appreciated. Thanks
