Do 02 online accept electron for pay monthly?

Hi,

I tried to set up a monthly account for a friend, but it stated "please quote valid account user name" .. or similar...

I put it down exactly how it was on the card... and am presuming that it may just not accept lloyds tsb electron. It is a VISA card, but I know most shops dont take it.

Because its after 9pm, you cant call them, and their online help isnt helping.

Can anybody please advise me??

I've tried using both my Electron cards to top-up the daughters phone (in my name) and neither would go through, Capital One Visa card wouldn't work either, so gave up and got it topped up at the local Spar instead. I think they have issues....

Are you trying to use it for ID setting up a contract over the internet or in store?

If so i dont think they do, you need Visa Delta, Switch or visa/Master credit card.

call online sales, they take a £50 deposit off of a friends visa( with them authorising it over the phone) if you only have electron as I done it for a mate, you get it back in 3 months

for on line contracts use this link for a better deal, its a 30 day contract as well so no 12 month tie in and a better deal, its sim only but then we all have a mobile unused somewhere in a drawer
