    Good Morning

Well suns out here again today, so WM is on overtime :) 3 loads are on the line and a load of towels are in the machine (all ds1's clothes are now washed :))

I have a rather smug feeling today I have managed to get to the end of the month without having to do a pay day loan to pay the end of the month bills!! I am £48 in my overdraft though and about 50p in my purse, but get TC and CB tomorrow and my IB on thurs. We don't need food, we could do with bread but I can make that.

Hic..cue raucous singing and swaying... I am not that bad really, I decided to see how the sloe vodka is doing as it has been steeping since September and I thought if it tasted rank then I would tip it down the sink. I only had a teensy weensy sip and I feel blotto already and it was rather yummy. I really must decant it.

I have been to the charity shop today with yet more stuff, more boxes have been packed. I have taken down my shower curtain but felt faint so couldnt replace the landlord's curtain (let them put it up). This morning I spoke to the benefits section of the council regarding my housing benefit - talk about rigmarole and I was made to feel like a criminal heck I am saving them some money:mad: I need to ring the environmental dept regarding my bins and I will need recycling boxes.

Spent an age on the phone to Eon and stupidly signed up with them so now I need to contact them within 14 days to cancel as I am staying with Scottish Power (will ring them later to ask what to do - I am on a fixed rate until 2013 with them). Eon wanted £60 a month for dual fuel because they figure that I am an aged crone who will be having the central heating on all day every day. The heating won't be going on until the winter and I dont think I would use much gas for heating water or cooking.

Still a fair bit to be done but I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel with regards to packing - only my bedroom and the office to be done now:j Shamefully I have nearly filled one commercial bin downstairs with my rubbish and general clearings out.

Dinner tonight is chicken from the feezer and maybe some veg - not much left in the freezer now.

BTW we should be getting the keys today:j

Horace - try to get yourself onto a tariff where if you submit the meter readings they bill you for what you've used. That way you have control. I find it MUCH easier! No estimated readings, no estimated bills, no wildly varying DDs, just pay for what I use.

Had a fab weekend meeting up with some MSE'rs. Glad I took today off to recover though, just allowed me a bit of a lie in and get the washing done!

Horace: I am worn out with all your packing! Sounds so exciting though, not long now and you'll be in your own home.

Clare: Well done on not needing a pay day loan this month:jmay that be the first of many months . Its so hard at the moment but we keep marching on.

More strawberry jam made this weekend, but sadly need to reboil it as its not quite set. That's now about 12lb.

More positive vibes please for my SIL, her prognosis is quite good but no gaurantees. She starts radio and chemo therapies next week. We're going to see her at the weekend.

Got loads to do this week now, as being away and am out all day tommorrow (day off) so need to do a mega lot of 15 minute burts.
    Hope all is well.

Can we have a house warming party on here when you finally get in Horace?

Busy day today and managed to get loads of bits done but still got loads more left. Dd has managed to nearly mess up laptop and break washing machine tonight (she is at the awkward 10 year old sometimes independent enough but not quite)

Have had one laugh though as dh knows there were 10 cadbury's creme eggs in our last AF order and has been searching all the cupboards for them with the kids - they are nestled in the drawer of odds and sods above the cupboards in plain view if you choose to open the drawer:rotfl:

Got a mahoosive email from the solicitor. I am getting very stressed. If you have any calming and clear thinking wibes going spare I would be very grateful.

Decluttering and wedding plans going well. Everything else in the air. Perhaps I should up my meds temporarily?

Take 5 minutes Marru, have a cup of tea or coffee or even a glass of water and take a few deep breaths. You will feel a bit calmer and in control.
Can't offer advice on the meds as I have no idea.

So pleased to hear about your wedding and everything, but you need to take care of yourself as well.
  • Oh Marru, Have some vibes a virtual hug from me.

If we can help please just shout, and i think TDQ i right about seeing the doctor before upping or changing meds.

    Take Care
