    we won my daughters tribunal three days ago!!!, backdated from august last year, do you think i will be backdated carers from that date too, as i am her carer ????

    CA is normally up to 3 months backdate but you can challenge it. Mjust remember it is taken off any income related benefits you may receive, not added on. So if you receive £110 pw in income related benefits, £58.45 will be deducted off £110.

    You may be entitled to an extra premium though dependant on benefits received.
