3* NH Cornella Hospitalet de Llobregat Area, Barcelona

    EJH dbl/twin standard B+B £723
    Find-rooms dbl/twin standard B+B £412
    diff=312
    times 2 = 624
    723 minus 624= 99
    Your effective price = £99 for 2, B+B (or £49.50 each)

Like others I've tried loads of combinations for Rome (24 May - 3nights) to no avail. So if anyone can recommend a cheap hotel in the centre I would be grateful

I've found a hotel for two nights on easyjethotels.com for £203 and the cheapest elsewhere is £196, so would that be £14 saved?

Yes richard, your maths is bang on.

However, if you had read my article, you would be aware that in a situation like that, it would be better to book with Hotelopia (the company that EJH use) if you booked via QUIDCO you get 9% ,quoting discount code 9363 for another 10% off giving an effective discount of around 18%.
So instead of £14- you could in fact save £36 ish

Im a great believer in "there is always more than 1 way to skin a cat"

yes, that's correct but you will be better off going on to hotelopia (via quidco) and using the 10% code as well to get roughly £36 off

see budgetflyer's post for more details

vii) easyJetHotels shall not reimburse clients should the best rated accommodation is not located where easyJet Airline currently operates, and/or is part of a package travel, package holidays or package tours, and/or is shown in a currency different to that quoted by easyJetHotels, and/or if the competitor rate is not offered by a UK bonded travel agency and/or if the rate is offered on a branded hotel chain website.

    hello every1.
does the hotel has to be in the country or city where easyjet operates?
    thanks for your help!

My Guide clearly explains it all. A good abreviation RTFM! = read the efin manual !
However just for you emmedi, here goes.
If its in the drop down box-you should be ok, HOWEVER- just to be certain, when you do a search, there will be a grey bit at the bottom of each hotel description on the search page (ie the list of hotels available) stating
" Lowest prices guaranteed. Find it cheaper ? We pay you double the difference !"

Woodkitten, theres nothing there, that week , that makes this EJH thing worth doing. However, if you book with HOTELOPIA via quidco adding discount code 9363 (for 10% off) you are effectively getting 18% off. That is as good as it gets for Krakow, Im afraid

thanks for all the help i will try out the option above, once again a great big thank you for all the help.

Given up in Rome and now trying London

The hotel I am looking at with easyjet says
1 DOUBLE DE LUXE Incl. Full Breakfast

The other website describes it as
Double De Luxe & English Breakfast

So both rooms a double deluxe however will my claim be accecpred due to the fact that easyjet describes breakfast as full breakfast and the other site English Breakfast???
