I'm going to Portugal for Easter and compared prices for hotels in Lisbon. Easyjet's Hotelopia quoted me £267 for 4 nights for two people in a double room including breakfast. The exactly same hotel/deal can be had booking it on https://www.travelrepublic.co.uk for £110.27!!I emailed Easyjet customer services pointing out this huge price difference. Let's see if they're going honour their promise of refunding twice the difference. In other words EJ charge about £67 per night compared to TR's £28.What a shocking difference. Last year I went to Turkey and spent a lots of time comparing hotel prices. The best deal I found was on TR who quoted me £84 for a single room for six nights in a five star hotel. And that was half board.

r u sure?If you get away with it-great- but TRAVEL REPUBLIC prices are PER PERSON. so the diff could be just £47. (should still give you £94 back though)

I've just got a claim confirmed using travel republic and got 2 twin/doubles inc breakfast for 2 nights for £14, so it is very possible - just compare the total values of the room

NH atlanta, Brussels (it's now showing as an easyjet destination)

The NH atlanta seems to have disappeared from hotelopia, but the 3 other NH hotels in Brussels were coming up as free or virtually free with travelrepublic (and DIY) using the EJH guarantee.

Vey impressed that I had confirmation of the refund within 36 hours of submitting the claim. Thanks for everyone's advice:T

I know this must sound pretty dim, but with travel replublic you can select flights then select accommodation and it then gives you total holiday price but with hotelopia it only gives accommodation price. So are we only comparing accommodation prices only?

Please help very confused person here:o

oh enjoy barcelona, i have had withdrawal symptons now, 4 weeks and no plane ride. this will be rectified when i check into Milan next weekend

Hi bettyboop,

Yes, you need to look at accommodation prices only, then book the flights separately. What I do is find some dates with low flight prices, then look for accommodation that fits those dates.
