Will a missing hyphen cause Easyjet problems?

Just realised on the flights I've booked from Luton to Nice I've put in my wifes name wrong
the family name is correct, but for her given name I've put it in the format: 'XXX SPACE XXX' where as in the passport it's written: 'XXX-XXX'
Such a small difference, but when I saw this on the Easyjet website:

red emphasis is mine, it might only take one stuffy employee to ruin our plans! I would change the name online but it counts as a whole passenger change at £35 so would rather not.
Just asking here before there lines open and I can call them later!
The API details you have to enter, passport dates+number etc oddly don't have anywhere to actually input the name though, so as 99% of the other data needed is perfect, I'm sure I'm worried about nothing!

Since airline systems cannot cope with hyphens, they usually ignore them, so a name XXXX-XXXX becomes XXXXXXXX.
I can see no reason why they wouldn't accept XXXX space XXXX.
Your wife has a proper name shown in her passport. It is not her fault that the airline booking system cannot reproduce it correctly, so either of the above reasonable alternatives are the best their system can do.
I don't believe it would be a problem.

Actually, easyJet's system can cope with hyphens as my wife's name is correctly listed for an upcoming bookig with them. That said, it is highly unlikely to be a problem though I'm sure they'll correct it for you free-of-charge if you call them.0

Easyjet are very good at correcting minor errors in names free of charge as long as you ring them rather than trying to make the change online. Their number is 0843 104 5000 (saynoto0870 lists 01582 443330 as an unverified alternative).0
