If you want an NHS aid it will have to be via a GP referral, and you'll wait forever if it's anything like my area.
If you want a private aid you can just ring an audiologist and be tested within a day or so, and have your hearing aid in about a week.
They are expensive...but certainly worth the money in my opinion.0 -

The OP has no idea whether they even need a hearing aid yet though, it might be something else entirely. With the symptoms of dizziness and pain it definitely needs to be a GP visit first.0
