I also would love to know this - Do you know they have reduced their interest to 5.76%?
Has anyone transferred away from them?0 -
Possibly wrong but I think the interest credited from the day they received transfer in cheque.
Yes, received the interest reduction letter this morning, backdated to 1 March.
I intend to transfer out when the tax year change "rush" has abated and rates have possibly stabilised. I suspect a lot of rates at the moment are only temporary to attract new money up to and just after 6 April?0 -
Are you with KRBS at the moment?
Are you thinking of moving?
Where too?

On transfers in from other providers KRBS dont backdate any interest
, Transfers from existing KRBS accounts to another KRBS account wont incur any loss of interest.
KRBS appear to have adopted interest paid from date of receipt on all deposits since 1st March 2008. :T
I transferred into KRBS in December 2007 and back out again in February 2008.
KRBS transfer funds out very quickly Joey partly because their is no passbook for them to write and ask for.
If u transfer to an ISA provider that does backdate interest on ISA transfer Ins e.g Nationwide, Abbey and LloydsTSB then u wont lose any interest while KRBS transfer cheque is in the post and being banked.0 -
Has anyone moved away from KRBS recently
How long did it take?
What happened with interest during that period?
