On The Beach luggage question

Hi,
im looking for some advice and information really on adding hold baggage onto my holiday booking.
I am goimg to Sharm el sheikh in sept with OH and our 2 kids (3&8)
when I booked the holiday thru OnTheBeach I wasnt sure what baggage I wanted to take so didnt choose to add any hold bags at the time. Now I have decided I went to add the baggage and was quoted £142 which is the price for 4 bags and a £30 admin fee, but also I would have to pay a £5 per person admin fee and then the charge for paying by card so that would bump it up to about £170. That seems a bit steep so.... would it be cheaper to get to gatwick and add them on there and then and pay their fee? I know I have to consider coming home aswell so I dont know what would be the cheaper option.
I have honestly tried to find out the info but I cannot see what charges id be looking at if I waited to add luggage at the airports.
I could possible just have 2 hold bags and put kids stuff in their hand luggage bag.
It says on On The Beach that hand luggage is 10kg limit but our flights are with Easyjet so not sure which rule to follow. 10kg or no limit?
Also, I am right in thinking that I am entitled to take a stroller on the flight as an extra with no charge?
Any help would be greatly recieved, or any direction as to where I can get this info.
Many thanks in advance,
Charlean

Do you have your Easyjet confirmation number so you can log in to your booking on easyjet.com?
If you do have this info you should be able to add the bags on yourself on the Easyjet site, bypassing on the beach and their charges. Easyjet charges for baggage vary on the route, but with sharp being a long flight I'd expect the charge to be the maximum £16 each way. This means for 4 bags return it would be £128.
I'm not sure how OTB bookings with Easyjet work though, you may not be able to access the reservation online. Failing that you could try the Easyjet call centre and see if you can do it directly with them.
Turning up at the airport will cost you £25 each way per item.0 -
Easyjet hand luggage is unlimited, as long as you can lift it in the overhead locker and it fits in there dimensions
Do you have the flight numbers? if so ring easyjet and see if you can book it through them. Its about £28 per bag return IIRC0 -

Hi and thanks for reply. I cant add the hold baggage with easyjet as the booking was made thru OTB so its not showing I have a booking on easyjets website. I dont have a landline to call Easyjet directly and it will cost a bit to call from mobile. I guess its just cheaper to pay the admin fee with OTB and do it that way. Less stressfull on the day aswell.
Thanks for the advice tho0 -
