Church of England to get militant over same sex marriages

A gay man, much like a women, is not attracted to all men and as such will perve selectedly. A straight man however is very much attracted to all women and thus would perve at all the women. This is frowned upon.
I'm a man and not attracted to all women.
I always thought the split for changing was because the men would look at women etc so thought it should be same for same sex attraction - Everyone moans about it being equal.
I'm not worried by men looking and using a towel as someone suggested - and yes i am a s*x god (joke before the no humour police arrive)0 -
The Church of England have married plenty of gay men, unfortunately not to other men but to women instead. Yay for that closet. They bless steam engines, battleships and all manner of nonsense ... but they'd have us believe that little baby Jesus would be most annoyed if they blessed the marriage of two folk who loved each other and who just happen to be of the same sex.
It's like not marrying a black man to a white woman, or a disabled person to someone able bodied or something, it's an utterly backward way for a Church to behave ... not that there's been anything democratic about the way this decision has been made anyway, it's not like members of the Anglican Church ever get a say in anything ever.

We are supposedly an intelligent species, yet a vast amount of us believe in something thats obviously a load of cobblers.

That pretty much sums up my opinion. I had assumed that a civil partnership was equal to a registry office marriage in all legal matters but the different name was simply a sop to the churches yet I've heard/read campaigners saying it's not always the case. So let's get rid of those differences by separating the legal and the religious completely. Let the religions set their own rules as to who/how they marry but include some basic minimum requirements for their ceremony if they wish it to be recognised also as a civil partnership. The government should simply turn straight civil marriages into Civil partnerships, completely equalise the legal practicalities including the transfer of titles, and keep marriage as a religious affair. That way, the church is happy, and everyone else is happy.
If all involved are adults, of sound mind and entering into the partnership willingly; it makes no difference what their chromosomes are or what they might do in the bedroom.I need to think of something new here...0
