A real threat to antidisestablishmentarianism.

    A warning, obviously.

Of the ineluctable conclusion that the church's recently announced stance stance will not bode well for the antidisestablishmentarianists.

I'd like to add a warning to this God that condemns homosexuality...

    Dear God,
If you insist on putting the male's G-Spot up their !!!!!, in a position where the best stimulation can come via an object that is penis shaped/sized, please do not be surprised when said men put their penises in each other's bums.
Furthermore, if you keep making so many men who are complete pillocks, lesbianism is inevitable.
    Sincerely,

    The World.

Although I have no interest in either religion or homosexuality if it's against the church of England's faith to condone same sex marriages then I believe that should be respected. Or if the government insists on forcing it through it should be applied across all religions and force both the catholic and Muslim religions to also perform same sex marriages.

  • Religious wars are generally fought over who has the biggest/hardest/strongest imaginary friend.

I couldn't give a monkeys what these fools think about anything. They are not relevant.

Personally, I think it should be legalised, but not forced.
If a vicar/priest/rabbi etc is happy to marry a homosexual couple, then it most certainly should be allowed, but if the religion refuses to marry a homosexual couple, then that too should be allowed.

    .

I know this is light hearted, but I think it's a bit stereotypical to think that gay men are defined by an*l sex, because quite apart from anything else, many don't do it!. It must be the first thing in these homophobics minds to make them so disgusted by homosexuality - so shouldn't they be questioning themselves? Hmm.

They are welcome to their view, but the point is that their view is meant to be endorsed by the state. So that means that this is any number of religious politians' views, including the likes of Tony Blair. And the Queen.
If the CoE was representing themselves, then let them say what they will. But they don't - they're meant to represent UK

Tony Blair is catholic so I imagine he would be quite strongly against same sex marriage. Also while the c of e is the national religion there is a clear separation between church and state.

I don't believe the views of the c of e are meant to represent the views of the uk.
